About the Role:
Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is seeking a Valet Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic Laundry Team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. The Valet Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting, processing, and finishing guest clothing and employee uniforms.

What you will do:

• Travelsto Guest Room to pick up the clothing that needs service. Ascertains time completed goods arerequired. Counts the items and givesguesta completed receipt. Marks guest clothing for identification

• Sorts guest items forappropriate action(Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) and then processes the clothing on the correct equipment, using theappropriate temperatureand chemicals. Once processed,foldsorhangsthe clothing as desired. Delivers clothing to guest at time desired

• Sorts employee uniforms forappropriate action(Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) either to process them on site or to send them to be processed by our third party in the case of the rental program. Then, processes the clothing. Once processed,hangsand transports clean uniforms to the conveyer

• Operates andmaintainswasher, dryer, dry cleaning machine,presserand iron. Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager

• Assists the Housekeeping Management team in processing regular uniforms,roomand F&B linen inventories

• Assists the Housekeeping Management team inmaintainingproper Ensures all chemicalsand operating supplies such as iron hangers, laundry, and sewing supplies are well stocked

• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisorsCarries out any other related duties as specified by yoursupervisor

About You:

• Knowledge of various laundry machines preferred but not required

• One to two years’ experience working in laundry or housekeeping preferred

• Strong communication skills

• Work authorization in the United States
