Job summary

Bayside Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Laundry Technician to join our faith-based facility. You will handle all laundry activities with strict infection-control practices, ensuring items are categorized, washed, dried, folded, and returned to the correct rooms.

The role supports resident comfort and facility operations in a caring, positive environment. Comprehensive benefits are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus)
• Knowledge of industrial washers and dryers is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Handles all laundry in accordance with infection control and State guidelines.
• Sorts laundry into appropriate categories for washing.
• Washes, dries, folds and hangs all laundry neatly and properly.
• Returns clean resident laundry to appropriate rooms and supply areas.
• Ensures names are in Resident clothing.
• Duties as assigned
