Job summary

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Laundry Technician. This is a cross‑trained position. Laundry technicians can be assigned housekeeper duties if a staffing need exists. Training is provided. Housekeeping positions require the use of cleaning chemicals. OSHA training is provided for all staff.

What You Will Do

• Handles all laundry in accordance with infection control and State guidelines.
• Sorts laundry into appropriate categories for washing.
• Washes, dries, folds and hangs all laundry neatly and properly.
• Returns clean resident laundry to appropriate rooms and supply areas.
• Ensures names are in Resident clothing.
• Duties as assigned.

What You Must Have

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus).
• Knowledge of industrial washers and dryers is a bonus.
