Forest Hills Care and Rehab Center is seeking a Laundry Assistant for a Monday–Friday schedule. The role involves washing, drying, mending, and sorting resident laundry, with emphasis on safety, sanitation, and adherence to infection control procedures.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, prior experience preferred, and basic English communication. Light lifting and continuous standing are required, with a supportive team environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Ability to communicate in English in writing and verbally
• Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs

Mansioni

• Loads articles into washer and dryer
• Soaks contaminated articles as per policy
• Sort dried articles and place in bins
• Lubricate machines
• Mends torn articles; counts items per laundry lists
• Iron required items
• Mixes dyes and bleaches according to formula
• Read and understand equipment operation manuals
• Perform duties ensuring resident safety
• Maintain sanitation and quality standards and follow infection control procedures
• Handle problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Other duties as assigned

Formazione
