Job summary

CMI Management LLC (Dexterra Group) is seeking a Laundry Worker to service a customer site in Emmitsburg, MD. You will handle linen collection, sorting, washing, and delivering clean linen across dorm buildings—maintaining safety standards and ensuring quality service.

Responsibilities include operating commercial washers/dryers, tallying daily output, and reporting equipment needs. This role requires physical stamina and teamwork to support daily operations at the site.

Qualifications

• Familiar with PPE usage and safety precautions.
• Able to stand, walk and bend for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 70 pounds.
• Able to twist, bend, and reach from floor to chest height.
• Must follow oral and written instructions and work with the team.

Responsibilities

• Count and record linen processed daily by dorm building.
• Sort soiled linen and ensure proper delivery to dorms.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers.
• Clean and sanitize machines, tables, and sorting areas.
• Assist with annual linen inventory and reporting needs.
