The Laundry System Mechanic is more than just a modern-day technician. They are responsible for repairing, modifying, and rebuilding all laundry system equipment. Laundry System Mechanics must have strong working knowledge of electrical and electronic laundry devices along with troubleshooting the equipment. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $39.48 per hour.

Basic Qualifications :

1. Minimum of 4 years' experience in the electrical field
2. Ability to work overnight
3. Must understand steam and hot oil thermal systems
4. Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and pneumatic controls
5. Experience with PLCs, relay logic, and ladder logic
6. Ability to pass a technical proficiency test
7. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
8. Capable of performing fault isolation and repairing failed systems
9. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
10. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
11. Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
