Job summary

Noble House Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Laundry Supervisor for the Jekyll Island Resort operations. The role oversees the resort laundry, ensuring timely cleaning, processing, and distribution of linens, towels, and uniforms, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will lead a laundry team, coordinate with Housekeeping, manage inventory, and uphold our commitment to guest satisfaction and resort cleanliness. An equal opportunity employer with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; hospitality management degree preferred.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Effective English communication with guests, management and co-workers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and presentation required.
• NHHR background screening requirements.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the resort's laundry department to ensure efficient cleaning, processing, and distribution of linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
• Supervise laundry team members, monitor productivity and quality standards, and ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain laundry equipment and inventory and collaborate with Housekeeping leadership to uphold cleanliness and service standards.

The JOB:

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort's laundry department to ensure the efficient cleaning, processing, and distribution of linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items throughout the property. This role supervises laundry team members, monitors productivity and quality standards, maintains laundry equipment and inventory, and ensures all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. The Laundry Supervisor works closely with the Housekeeping leadership team to maintain adequate linen supplies, support daily operational needs, and uphold the resort's cleanliness and service standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, college degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
• Two to three years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Communicate effectively in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and presentation required.
• Meet NHHR background screening requirements
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
• Safety procedures and personal protective equipment knowledge.
• Flexibility to work during non-peak hours or weekends as needed to minimize disruptions to guests.
• Must be 21 years of age to drive the golf carts.
