Job summary

Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach & Golf Resort is seeking a Laundry Supervisor to assist the Laundry Manager or Housekeeping Manager in maintaining an adequate supply of clean, pressed linen across all areas. This role supports daily laundry operations and upholds sanitation standards in a fast-paced resort environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of progressive hotel experience, with previous supervisory responsibilities preferred, and must be able to stand for long periods

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Laundry Manager or Housekeeping Manager to ensure an adequate supply of clean, pressed linen.
• Support daily laundry operations and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet linen needs as required.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
