Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Plan and direct Laundry department goals, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure equipment is returned to proper locations and ready for next use.
• Inventory stock and ensure adequate supplies/equipment for staff.
• Conduct daily rounds to verify staff perform required duties.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Laundry staff.
• Perform duties as a Laundry Assistant as needed.
• Manage within budget and control costs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Assist in patient evacuation when needed.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.

Position Summary

The Laundry Supervisor plans, organizes, and directs the overall operations of the Laundry department to ensure a clean, safe working environment in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years' supervisory experience in a health care setting
• Training in environmental control practices and procedures

Specific Job Requirements

• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
• Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
• Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation
• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
• Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
• Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care'sCode of Conductand completes mandatoryCode of Conductand other appropriate compliance training

Essential Functions
