Job summary

The Birches at New Hope is seeking a Full-Time Laundry Attendant to help maintain clean linens and residents' clothing in a considerate, respectful environment. You will work as part of a dynamic team dedicated to quality care for seniors and will be supported by a reputable organization committed to dignity and excellence.

Responsibilities include laundering linens and residents' clothing, delivering items to rooms, maintaining a tidy laundry area, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• English communication in oral and written form.
• Ability to contribute to a positive atmosphere for residents, families, and staff.
• No prior laundry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Launder all linens and residents' personal clothing using appropriate cleaning solution.
• Deliver and put away residents' personal clothing in their rooms.
• Clean lint traps as required by equipment manufacturer.
• Keep the laundry room clean and free of clutter.

• Ability to work every other weekend

JobResponsibilities Include

• Responsible for utilizing appropriate cleaningsolution to thoroughly launder all linens and residents personal clothing
• Delivering and putting away residents personalclothing in their room.
• Clean lint traps as required by equipmentmanufacturer.
• Keep laundry room clean and free of clutter

Qualifications

• High school diploma or generaleducation degree (GED)
• Ability to handle frequent lifting, bending, stooping,climbing, pushing and stretching.
• Abilityto identify safety hazards is required
• No prior laundry experience necessary
