Job Description

The Laundry Worker is responsible for operating laundry equipment related to the finishing of flatwork and tumble-dried goods. They clean and maintain assigned areas to meet customer and client satisfaction. Additionally, the Laundry Worker folds, maintains, and supplies cleaned linen to operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and classify soiled linen.
• Operate automatic cart washer and remove linen carts from the exit.
• Use flatwork ironer, small piece folders, and process specialty items following standards.
• Ensure quality control and that linens meet customer expectations; escalate issues to supervisor.
• Label linen distribution carts properly and cover all linen carts during transport.
• Fold, store linen, and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist truck driver with loading linen and materials.
• Report supply levels to lead or supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the work area.
