Job summary

Nuage Designs is seeking a Laundry Supervisor to lead the laundry floor in our Miami operation. You will manage daily production, supervise staff, and ensure safe, efficient washing, drying, finishing, and bagging processes across shifts.

The role requires 2+ years in laundry/manufacturing and leadership experience, with knowledge of laundry equipment and quality-control practices. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in a laundry, textile, or manufacturing production environment with leadership responsibilities.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment, textile handling, and quality-control processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-shift guidance.

Responsibilities

• Build and control the daily production schedule based on returns, inventory requirements, and shipment deadlines.
• Actively supervise the production floor and address idle time, equipment issues, quality problems, and unsafe conditions.
• Serve as liaison for requests from outside the laundry department and determine priorities.
• Move carts, racks, and product between areas to keep workers at their stations.
• Track production against standards and adjust staffing when needed.
• Maintain washroom and dryer operations, ensure proper loading and reduced idle time.
• Enforce quality and reclaim standards across shifts and handle rejected items correctly.
• Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.
• Schedule and deploy labor to cover breaks and peak periods, ensure safety and cleanliness.
