Job summary

Priority Management is seeking a Laundry worker to wash and dry linen and resident's clothes. The worker will ensure clean linens are returned to storage promptly and that resident's clothes are returned to owners with proper identification, reporting losses or damages as needed.

The role requires understanding standard laundry procedures for patients, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work under supervision. Prior experience is not essential, and teamwork with coworkers is important.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous experience preferable but not essential.
• Must have an understanding of standard procedures used in laundry services for patients and in caring for clothes, linens, equipment and supplies.
• Has an interest in learning, ability to cooperate and is willing to work under supervision.
• Must have the ability to work well with co workers.

Responsibilities

• Wash and dry linen and resident's clothes.
• Ensure all clean linen is returned to the linen storage area promptly.
• Return resident's clothes to owners promptly, ensure proper identification and report losses or damages.
• Maintain an inventory of linens and laundry supplies.
