Job summary

Surfside Laundry in Foley, AL, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily laundry operations, lead a team to deliver exceptional service, and ensure production and quality targets are met.

You will supervise, train, and motivate staff; monitor machine performance and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime; manage inventory and place orders; and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a laundry or similar operational environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with laundry machinery and maintenance procedures.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily laundry activities to meet production and quality targets.
• Supervise, train, and motivate laundry staff to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
• Monitor machine performance and conduct routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on operational performance and staff productivity.
