CORE Linen is seeking a Laundry Production Manager to oversee daily operations of an industrial laundry facility handling healthcare linens in Gilroy, CA. The role focuses on staff development, cost control, safety, and equipment oversight.

You will train staff, assist with financials, and maintain regulatory compliance while driving productivity improvements and succession planning within a growing operation.

Formación

• BS/BA in Management or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1–3 years ops/management experience, preferably laundry operations in large-scale plants.
• Spanish language skills a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and presentations.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Proficient in Windows office software (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsabilidades

• Manages staff development and training to produce high-quality linen products.
• Assists Operations Manager with financial management of plant costs and expenses.
• Supports cost-effective operation while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Liaises with Chief Engineer to ensure safe operation and upkeep of production equipment.
• Supports HR functions including training, compliance, staffing, payroll and benefits.
• Participates in safety committee and oversees regulatory compliance (HLAC, OSHA, JACHAO).
• Attends and documents laundry surveys for potential clients.
• Assists in annual staff appraisals and disciplinary coaching.
• Forecasts capital needs and oversees new equipment installation; reviews productivity improvements.
• Develops PDPs and succession plans for supervisors to foster growth.
