The Battle Creek VA Medical Center is seeking a Laundry Operations Specialist in the Environmental Management Service. The role oversees textile care, contract oversight, budgeting and reporting to ensure compliant and efficient operations.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 80 hours per pay period, with possible extended hours based on center needs. On-site position at the Battle Creek facility.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) with responsibility for planning, budgeting, and managing EMS contracts.
• Advise on textile care modalities and evaluate data validity and performance.
• Review operations to identify short- and long-term objectives for improved EMS performance.
• Monitor compliance with FAR and ensure contractor performance meets criteria.
• Analyze stock levels, budget for inventory, and manage laundry plant operations.
