Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum supervisory experience or one year of comparable housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of laundry supplies and equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Read and write basic English for logs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall daily operations of the Laundry Department.
• Ensure quality controls for all laundry processes and reject exceptions.
• Fill in positions in Laundry when needed.
• Train, develop, and appraise the laundry team.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area.
• Monitor linen and supplies and advise on reorders.
• Ensure par stocks are maintained and stock is stored safely.
• Manage customer service issues quickly and effectively.
• Oversee issuing of linen via requisition system.
• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
