Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an experienced Laundry Mechanic to maintain and optimize industrial laundry equipment in a high-volume hospitality operation. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, quick troubleshooting, and safe, reliable performance to support continuous production.

You will work with washers, dryers, boilers, pumps, and related systems, applying mechanical and electrical skills in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial laundry maintenance experience.
• Experience with high-volume commercial laundry equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and workplace safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial laundry equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair needs.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and operational effectiveness.
• Inspect motors, bearings, belts, valves, compressors, and other components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and in compliance with standards and manufacturer specs.
• Collaborate with operations and laundry staff to support production goals.
• Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

We are seeking an experiencedLaundry Mechanicto join our team. This critical role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing industrial laundry equipment in a high-volume hospitality laundry operation. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working with industrial laundry systems, and a commitment to maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, ironers, folders, pumps, boilers, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair needs.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and operational effectiveness.
• Perform routine inspections of motors, bearings, belts, valves, compressors, and other mechanical components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and in compliance with company standards, OSHA regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate with operations leaders and laundry staff to support production goals and maintain uninterrupted workflow.
• Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.
