Job summary

MasterCorp, Inc. in Hilton Head Island, SC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Laundry to service, repair, and maintain laundry equipment and building systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and help keep the facility safe and efficient. The role requires hands-on skills, tool proficiency, problem solving, and reliable communication to complete daily work orders and support the Director of Laundry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Preventative Maintenance Tech or similar skilled trade.
• Proficient skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, electric motors, electrical circuits, mechanical drive systems, gas and steam operated systems and belt drive equipment.
• Must meet the requirements to receive a company driving permit.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently, accurately, and courteously complete service calls as assigned, contacting laundry attendant within 5 minutes of request.
• Complete all assigned work orders daily.
• Change light bulbs and ballasts as soon as reported or noticed.
• Maintain boilers and pumps daily.
• Repair and maintain laundry carts.
• Drive laundry truck when needed.
