CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL seeks a dedicated Linen Specialist to maintain laundry and boiler room equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and lead daily operations across the service accounts we support.

You will collaborate with supervisors to coordinate external repairs, manage warehouse and grounds functions, and train teammates on the operation of computerized laundry equipment, while ensuring safe handling of contaminated linen.

Qualifications

• Performs preventative maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment.
• Coordinates external maintenance and repairs with supervisor.
• Manages warehouse and grounds maintenance, including alarm systems.
• Trains others on computerized laundry equipment operation.
• Handles contaminated linen for medical center and off-site service accounts.
• Leads Linen Specialist daily functions.
• Assists hauling bulk deliveries and supports courier services.
• Maintains vehicle records and maintenance logs.
