Overview

Performs tasks involved in sorting, processing, and preparing surgical packs or carts in the laundry area to ensure the delivery of quality products to customers. Operates and monitors power laundry equipment used in linen processing.

Qualifications
  • Ability to stand for eight hours or more per day
  • Occasionally lifts up to 10 lbs when stacking and carrying folded linens
  • Working environment temperature ranges from 60 to 95 degrees; environment may contain fumes, odors, dust, and dirt
  • May be exposed to soiled linen items; protective clothing must be worn on soil line
  • Operates all necessary equipment to perform job duties
  • Follows established standards of courtesy and safety; complies with department dress code
