Overview

Finishes clean linens by ironing, folding, and packaging according to established policies, procedures and instructions for machine operation. Distributes clean linens and maintains stock levels as needed. Assist the Attendant II with dryers and washers as necessary. Cross trains in the Housekeeping Department and works in Housekeeping as needed.

Responsibilities

Remove linens from washers, loads and unloads dryers and sorts linen in clean linen area in preparation for finishing.Examines articles for stains, tears or otherStacks linens for distribution or places them in supply storage.Reports linen supply shortages to supervisor.Cleans delivery equipment and assists with other cleaning duties in laundry/linen department.Folds, sorts and stacks items on table or in carts.Train all new employees for linen tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $15.45per hour - $25.03per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
