Vestis is seeking a team member to perform industrial laundry merchandise handling. You will stage, feed, fold, and verify items, while identifying damaged goods and organizing bundles for storage. The role requires basic math, clear communication, and the ability to work with others on a shift-based schedule.

Expect a 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 4:00 am–12:30 pm) in Vernon, CA. The job emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a warehouse setting, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Stage and feed merchandise on the ironer to reduce wrinkling and tangling.
• Receive and fold merchandise from the ironer.
• Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type; place in correct storage carts.
• Maneuver full and empty carts; maintain a safe, clean work environment.
