Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day, including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors. Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms. Keep handrails clean and free of debris. Clean and remove dust, dirt, or food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and towel dispensers. Empty trash cans and replace liners. Sweep and mop floors.
Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning, including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of residents' reach. Use supplies and equipment safely by following user manual instructions. Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a safe, sanitary, clean, and orderly manner.
Notify the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing immediately regarding resident safety issues or concerns. Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishing.
Must occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds. Regularly sit, kneel, stand, walk, talk, read, or hear. Use of office equipment and housekeeping supplies daily.
Typically low to moderate noise and odor levels. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
