Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment. You will follow infection prevention protocols and support operations in a patient-centered setting.

The role is full-time and hourly, with a pay rate of $13.00 per hour. The position emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and adherence to safety standards across departments.

• Knowledge of cleaning methods, infection prevention, and safety standards.

Position Summary

The Environmental Services Technician performs daily cleaning, floor care, waste management, and laundry services to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. The EVS Technician follows established policies, procedures, and infection prevention protocols, and supports the Supervisor and Manager as needed to ensure efficient departmental operations.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

• This is an full time hourly, non-exempt position. Extended hours may be necessary based on operational needs.
• Pay Rate: $13.00/HR

Essential Functions and Duties

General Responsibility as Required for Position

• Responsible for acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including those relating to Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA. Responsible for acting in conformant with accrediting agency standards.
• Attends department meetings as required.
• Demonstrates accountability to accept responsibility for personal/professional growth and any required certification/licenses, if applicable.
• Completes mandatory training and competencies annually.
