Chelsea Retirement Community in Chelsea, MI is seeking a part-time Launderer to support daily laundry operations for residents and staff. You’ll sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and clothing, and operate laundry equipment safely.
You will follow cleaning and infection control procedures, inspect items for quality, and may assist with general housekeeping to keep rooms and common areas clean and welcoming.
Schedule: Part-Time: 24 hours/week | 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday | Every other weekend rotation
Shift Premiums: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm $1.00 | Weekend (Fri 10:31 pm - Sun 11:00 pm) $1.00

As a Launderer, you’ll play an important role in helping keep our community clean, comfortable, and well-stocked for residents each day. In this role, you’ll support daily laundry operations by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing to ensure residents and team members have the supplies they need. You’ll operate laundry equipment safely, follow proper cleaning and infection control procedures, and inspect items for quality to ensure they are clean, fresh, and ready for use.
You may also assist with general housekeeping support as needed, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas, sanitizing surfaces, replenishing supplies, and helping maintain a welcoming environment throughout the community.
