Job summary

CW Resources in Connecticut is hiring Laundry Delivery Drivers to support our commercial laundry operations. This hybrid role combines delivering linens between facilities with assembling, folding, and preparing items for delivery.

You will operate a company vehicle, maintain logs, meet daily production deadlines, and provide friendly service. Full training is provided; a valid CT Medical Certificate and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CT Medical Certificate for all Delivery Driver positions.
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating a commercial delivery vehicle in laundry/warehouse/production environments.
• Minimum of 1–2 years experience driving a 26-foot box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle safely to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries.
• Provide friendly, professional service at every stop and answer basic customer questions.
• Use handheld devices or route sheets to track completed stops, signatures, and notes.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.

CW is seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Delivery Drivers to support our commercial laundry operations. This hybrid role includes transporting linens and supplies between facilities or customer locations, as well as assembling, folding, and preparing laundry items for delivery.

Driving & Delivery:

• Operate a company vehicle safely to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries.
• Provide friendly, professional service at every stop; answer basic customer questions.
• Use handheld devices or route sheets to track completed stops, signatures, and special notes.
• Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tire pressure, cleanliness) and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route sheets, and documentation.

What You'll Need to be Successful:

• No prior Laundry experience required — we provide full training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a commercial delivery vehicle in a laundry, warehouse, or production environment.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience driving a 26‑foot box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
• Understanding of safe driving practices and basic vehicle operation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Valid CT Medical Certificate required for all Delivery Driver positions.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

• Lifting: Must be able to lift, carry, and move laundry bundles or products weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Standing: The role requires standing and remaining on one’s feet for the majority of the workday.
• Repetitive Motion: The position involves frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Pushing/Pulling: Must be able to push and pull carts, racks, or bins that may be heavily loaded with linens.
• Manual Dexterity: Must be able to maintain sufficient hand‑eye coordination to fold, sort, and assemble items quickly and accurately.
• Visual Inspection: The role requires the ability to visually inspect items for stains, tears, or other quality issues.
• Work Environment: The job is performed in a warm, humid, and fast‑paced industrial laundry facility.
• Driving: Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle to transport linens or supplies, and must do so in full compliance with all company policies and applicable state driving regulations.
• Equipment Exposure: The associate will work near commercial laundry equipment that generates heat, steam, and noise, all within established safety guidelines.
• Flooring: The position requires standing and moving on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Noise Levels: Frequent exposure to moderate noise levels typical of industrial operations.
• Machinery: The role involves working around moving machinery and navigating around carts, bins, and equipment in a busy production area.
• Soiled Linens: Frequent exposure to soiled linens while following proper sanitation and hygiene procedures.
• Chemicals: Frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required.
