Job summary

Goodwill South Florida in Miami, FL is seeking a full-time Laundry/Facilities worker for the graveyard shift. You will be responsible for cleaning laundry staff break areas, restrooms, and plant production areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

The role requires stamina for standing and walking, ability to lift, and adherence to cleaning protocols. Requires High School or equivalent; background check and drug test are mandatory.

• Blow down and assist in plant clean-up, generally once a month on Sundays or after production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education, Experience, and Requirements

• High School or equivalent is preferred but not necessary.
• Must pass a background check. Must pass a drug test. Prior felony convictions will not exclude you from employment, only job-related ones.

• Constantly have arm and shoulder strength and range of motion to be able to pull and separate blankets, patient gowns, towels, and other thoroughly dried linen items if tangled from a weighted pile repeatedly for the duration of the shift
• Able to withstand shifts in temperature from 40° to 110°
• Able to perform repetitive tasks the entire shift
