Job summary

Cheaha State Park is seeking a Laundry Attendant for an overnight shift to clean and sanitize linens and guests’ laundry. You will operate industrial laundry machines, load and unload, and maintain a clean work space on-site in Delta, AL.

Must have basic English reading/writing and a High School diploma or equivalent preferred. The role offers part-time status with an $14.00 hourly wage and safety-conscious environment.

This is an overnight (3rd Shift) position.Job Description:**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*** Operate laundry machinery to clean and sanitize clothes and linens used by the facility and the facility’s guests. Load and unload machinery. Work safely using detergents, bleach, and other cleaning solutions to clean articles following company safety standards.* Fold and store facility’s linens, towels, and uniforms.* Iron guests’ clothing and any other items as directed using hand iron or pressing machine.* Maintain inventory controls.* Clean laundry machinery, filters, and vents. Maintain clean and clear laundry work space.
