POSITION PAY RANGE: Competitive base hourly pay starting at $19.00 and up to $21.00/hour. Based upon experience.

THE LAUNDRY ATTENDANT POSITION:

Real Equity Management is hiring a Laundry Attendant for our hotel, Towneplace Suites by Marriott. Responsibilities include removing laundry from rooms and chutes, washing, drying, folding, and maintaining cleanliness of common areas to ensure guest satisfaction.

LAUNDRY ATTENDANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests.
  • Perform quality assurance for the department.
  • Remove laundry from rooms and chutes.
  • Separate laundry and pre-spot items as needed.
  • Operate laundry equipment proficiently to ensure cleanliness and supply of linens.
  • Notify management when supplies are low.
  • Keep laundry room and equipment clean and safe.
  • Restock linens and supplies in various areas.
  • Clean and maintain common areas such as elevators, hallways, and recreational areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Be visible and available for guest assistance.
  • Assist with training new staff.
  • Complete maintenance work orders promptly.
  • Follow the Brand service culture standards.
  • Perform shift checklist duties.
  • Support team to complete daily tasks.
  • Operate a vehicle for hotel errands if required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in housekeeping or luxury hotels is a plus.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Professional demeanor with high customer service standards.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Clean background check.
  • Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continually; ability to lift over 50 pounds.
