Responsibilities

1. Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company’s business operations.
2. Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
3. Observe all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
4. Cooperate with Managers and Supervisors to complete any requests promptly.
5. Use correct cleaning chemicals, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
6. Use correct personal protection equipment in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
7. Sort, pretreat, wash, dry, iron, and fold linens.
8. Inspect linens for tears and stains, rejecting or reclaiming them as needed.
9. Mend and sew linens.
10. Fill linen requisitions for banquets and restaurants.
11. Deliver guest service supplies to guest rooms.
12. Process contract-cleaned linens.
13. Restock housekeeping closets and carts.
14. Provide towel service to recreation areas.

Job Description

Process all bed linens, terry, and table linens by operating laundry/dry cleaning machinery according to hotel standards. Clean, press, and finish staff and guest garments, as well as designated guest room fabrics and articles.

Qualifications

• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of laundry/dry cleaning equipment and chemical handling.
• Knowledge of finishing techniques for all fabric types.
