Job summary

Woodbury Corporation in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage linen processing and related duties in our facilities.

Responsibilities include sorting linens, loading washers, drying items, folding, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety policies. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work well with others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort linens and treat stains as required.
• Load soiled laundry into washers and add cleaning agents.
• Dry wet items and prepare them for use.
• Sort, fold, or hang clean items.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor of needs.
• Maintain laundry equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other duties, such as cleaning guest rooms as assigned.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Sorts all linens and treats stains.
• Loads soiled laundry into washers; adds specified cleaning agents.
• Takes wet, clean items and dries them as required.
• Sorts and folds or hangs clean, dried items.
• Maintains inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicates needs to supervisor.
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs supervisor as to any maintenance needs.
• Works with cleaning chemicals related to laundry
• Follows all company policies including safety policies and procedures.
• May stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time; reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Will move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Performs other, additional duties as assigned such as cleaning guest rooms.
