Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Lincoln is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, and assist with guest room cleaning as needed. You will maintain inventory, operate laundry equipment, and follow all safety policies in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work weekends. Reliability and teamwork are essential to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Sorts linens and treats stains.
• Loads soiled laundry into washers and adds cleaning agents.
• Dries items and ensures proper care.
• Sorts and folds or hangs clean items.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and communicates needs to supervisor.
• Maintains laundry equipment and reports maintenance needs.
• Follows company safety policies and procedures.
• May stand, walk, or crouch for long periods; lifts up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including cleaning guest rooms.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Sorts all linens and treats stains.
• Loads soiled laundry into washers; adds specified cleaning agents.
• Takes wet, clean items and dries them as required.
• Sorts and folds or hangs clean, dried items.
• Maintains inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicates needs to supervisor.
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs supervisor as to any maintenance needs.
• Follows all company policies including safety policies and procedures.
• May stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time; reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Will move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Performs other, additional duties as assigned such as cleaning guest rooms.
