Job Description

Laundry Attendant - Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for all relevant activities in the laundry field, maintaining guest and employee linens, ensuring cleanliness of machines and other assigned areas, and providing efficient, courteous, and punctual service. The role requires working with a team to ensure guest satisfaction, adhering to operational policies and standards.

In performing these duties, maintaining good relations with supervisors, department heads, local authorities, and key persons is essential.

Scope

Follow all supervisor instructions to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold high service standards.

General Responsibilities
  • Carry out all reasonable requests by management.
  • Keep the laundry area clean and dust equipment after each shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the linen room.
  • Attend scheduled training and on-the-job training sessions.
  • Ensure personal hygiene and proper uniform maintenance.
  • Perform duties assigned to non-supervisory personnel.
  • Promote good employee relations.
People Management
  • Maintain a climate of trust and team spirit throughout the operation.
Leadership
  • Exhibit self-discipline, gain respect, and inspire teamwork.
  • Lead by example.
Guest Satisfaction
  • Follow up on guest complaints and suggestions.
