Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Tyler is seeking a Laundry Attendant to perform laundry cleaning activities in accordance with brand standards and guest service expectations.

You will load and unload washers and dryers, sort, pre-treat soiled linen, fold and store towels, and maintain equipment while following safety rules; you may assist with other housekeeping tasks and support guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering.
• Load and unload washers and dryers.
• Maintain equipment as trained.
• Fold, store and distribute towels and linens.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks in case of staffing shortages.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
