You will transport and sort linen, operate commercial washers and dryers, and ensure clean, well-organized laundry areas while providing warm, compassionate service to residents and staff. Experience is not required, but preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning compounds and solutions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility, integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, keeping areas neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts customer service first: ensures residents and families receive high-quality service.
