Position Summary

Operate laundry equipment to produce clean linens for the hospital. Handle linen processing, delivery, and inventory tasks as part of the Environmental Services Department.

Position Duties:

1. Sort, weigh, wash, and dry hospital linen according to procedures.
2. Pre-treat heavily stained items.
3. Load items into washers, add detergents appropriately.
4. Monitor equipment for proper operation.
5. Inspect linens for cleanliness.
6. Follow infection control procedures.
7. Understand and follow oral and written instructions; work effectively with team members.
