Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

• Separating linens and towels by type
• Washing linens following a set formula, then drying, folding, and ironing
• Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Following all training procedures related to bloodborne pathogens
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Ensuring quality standards for all linens
• Sorting linens in preparation for washing
• Performing all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading/unloading, ironing, folding, storing, and delivering
• Keeping laundry machinery and area clean
• Maintaining adequate stock levels
• Responding promptly and courteously to guest service issues
• Performing additional laundry tasks as needed

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position

• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely
• Ability to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours or more
• Ability to stoop and bend
• Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment
• Compliance with safety and health standards
• Repetitive motion task handling skills
