Job summary

A&R Group is hiring a Laundry Attendant in Mobile, AL to support our hospitality team and ensure clean linens and towels for guests. The role involves operating commercial washers and dryers, sorting and folding laundry, and maintaining a tidy work area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry attendant experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform job functions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Physical stamina and ability to move throughout the hotel for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable making repetitive motions involving the shoulders, elbows, and hands.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull moderate weights frequently (up to 25 lbs or more).
• Basic comprehension of the English language, including understanding labels and safety instructions.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washers and dryers like a laundry pro.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and uniforms with care and speed.
• Spot-check laundry for stains or damage and give items that extra TLC.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and running like a well-oiled machine.
• Work independently but also lend a hand to your teammates.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report when it's time to restock.
