Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support our Hotel & Environmental Services division.

You will maintain a steady supply of clean linens and towels for guests and operations, ensuring a sanitary, welcoming environment across the facility. In this role, you will operate commercial washers and dryers, fold and store linens, and assist with inventory control while following safety and infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or laundry experience preferred, but on-site training is provided.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions clearly, communicate effectively with supervisors, and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
• Strong time-management skills, punctuality, and a willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with high attention to detail.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and cheerful service when interacting with guests, hotel staff, and team members.
• Load and operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently to clean towels, sheets, pillowcases, and other facility linens.
• Neatly fold, stack, and organize clean linens and towels in designated storage areas.
• Inspect linens to identify and salvage stained or torn items, maintaining accurate records of discarded inventory.
• Assist with transporting soiled linen containers and clean linen carts throughout the facility.
• Clean and organize storeroom and laundry operating areas; report equipment malfunctions promptly to maintenance.
• Follow all infection control, safety, fire, and chemical handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
