Job summary

DoubleTree Phoenix Midtown is seeking a Laundry Attendant to help maintain guest room and Food & Beverage linen. In this on-site role you will sort, wash, dry, iron, fold and stock linens in accordance with hotel standards, ensuring timely availability for guest services.

You will join a team that values reliability and teamwork, with potential night, weekend, and holiday shifts. The position requires physical stamina and careful handling of chemicals, plus a commitment to safety and guest

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel laundry or housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift 10–25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to safety and following MSDS

Responsibilities

• Sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, fold and stock guest room and Food & Beverage linen.
• Operate and report any equipment issues; follow safety standards.
• Follow chemical usage guidelines and quantity controls with supervisor approval.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will be doing

• Sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, fold and stock guest room and Food & Beverage linen


• Know and follow the operating functions of all equipment, reporting any damage, hazards or defective equipment to a supervisor


• Utilize chemicals used in washing, controlling quantities of supplies as recommended by chemical supplier with approval of Executive Housekeeper


• Perform other duties as assigned


• Follow all Material Safety Data Sheet documents and management company Safety Standards
