Job summary

MHG Hotels LLC in Avon, IN seeks a Laundry Attendant to operate washing and drying equipment, select cleaning materials and ensure clean linens for guests. You will maintain linen carts, inspect items, and help keep the laundry area safe and efficient.

We value a detail-oriented, team-focused individual who can work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Full-time or part-time positions available with benefits. Staff will receive room discounts and other incentives.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing and drying machinery.
• Select appropriate cleaning materials for different linens.
• Maximize efficiency and conserve water by adjusting load size.
• Remove debris from floors after sorting.
• Inspect cleanliness of items and place in clean linen carts.
• Identify stained or damaged linens for repair or discard or supervisor review.
• Fold articles into designated sizes by hand or folding machine.
• Clean lint traps.
• Maintain accurate records of laundered items.
• Replenish laundry supplies during shift.
• Select personal protective equipment as needed for surfaces and tasks.
• Ensure assigned areas meet cleanliness standards.
