Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a laundry attendant to clean and store linens and meet hotel linen needs. You will receive soiled lines, operate laundry equipment, and maintain organized storage in a fast-paced hotel laundry facility at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required; some laundry experience and English ability are preferred. The role involves lifting up to 75 pounds and working near hot equipment, with potential night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Some laundry experience and ability to speak English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive soiled lines by bag, cart or chute from the floors and inspect for stains or damage.
• Operate washers and dryers following manufacturer guidelines and add chemicals as directed.
• Fold clean linens and store appropriately; operate linen feeder and folder machines.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Monitor supplies and minimize waste within the laundry facility.
• Record discarded linen and report damages or loss to supervisor.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.
