Townsend Park Health & Rehab is hiring for a full-time laundry/equipment attendant. Starting pay is $14.20 per hour with weekly pay. The role involves sorting, washing, and drying clothes, maintaining cleanliness of the laundry area, and following safety procedures.

Formación

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Folds and sorts clothes.
• Hangs clothes on racks according to name and numbers.
• Ensures patient clothes are ready to wear and disrepair is addressed.
• Follow MSDS precautions for all chemicals used.
• Washes and dries clothes and linens.
• Keeps equipment clean and follows cleaning schedules.
• Sweep and mop laundry area.
• Empty washers and dryers as requested.
• Disinfect linen carts as required.
• Promote the image and reputation of the System through servant leadership.
• Assist committees and project teams as needed.
