Laundry Attendant

At the Bay View Inn, a Laundry Attendant is responsible for operating laundry machinery, such as washers, dryers, and irons, within a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

The Laundry Attendant's typical job functions include:

• Operating (loading and unloading) washers, dryers, and irons
• Folding and placing linens in appropriate storage bins/areas
• Moving heavy carts multiple times per day
• Changing chemicals when alerted
• Understanding which linens belong to each property (3 hotels/4 restaurants)
• Daily clean up and organizing

Qualifications

This position may be for you if you are:

• Available to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays
• Able to lift 25+ lbs, push heavy carts, and perform repetitive tugging, pulling, pushing, lifting, and standing for long hours
• Previous experience in laundry operations is preferred but not required
