Job summary

Home2 Suites - Wilmington Medical District is seeking a Laundry Attendant to help keep linens and towels clean and ready for guests. You will operate washers and dryers, sort and fold laundry, and work closely with housekeeping to ensure supplies are available.

Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable lifting and standing for long shifts. Previous hotel laundry experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hotel experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels
• Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or special handling needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
• Monitor laundry supply levels and notify management of needed items
• Assist with guest laundry requests as needed
• Work closely with housekeeping to ensure linens are available throughout the hotel
• Follow all safety and cleaning procedures
