The Westin Tempe is seeking a full-time Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will ensure proper washing and drying of laundry while maintaining high service standards and guest satisfaction.

As a Laundry Attendant, you'll be part of a great team of helpful people who are passionate about delivering exceptional service. You'll have the support and collaboration of your colleagues as you work together to provide a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.

This role helps ensure the proper washing and drying of laundry to keep both Crescent's and Marriott’s high standards of quality along with servicing our guests around our beautiful Hotel. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction.

Required Skills And Abilities

Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Working knowledge of the use of laundry chemicals and different formulas, as well as effects on various types of linen. Ability to prioritize and organize work. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push or pull heavy loads, and stand for long periods of time. Requires lifting bundles of linen weighing up to 75 lbs. Ability to push and/or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
