Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Shreveport, LA is seeking a dedicated garment finisher to sort and finish apparel. You will operate steam tunnel and pressing equipment, replace buttons, and sort garments by classification and color to meet our quality standards.

This role requires standing for most of a shift, lifting and bending, and strict adherence to safety rules. Six months of finishing experience is preferred, and bilingual Spanish is a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications (preferred).
• Six months of finishing/processing garments experience preferred.
• Standing for most of a shift and physical requirements expected.

Responsibilities

• Sort garments by classification and color; finish garments to quality standard.
• Maintain quality and efficiency standards; monitor safety requirements.
• Operate steam tunnel and pressing equipment; replace buttons as needed.
• Keep work area clean and organized; report equipment malfunctions.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for garment sorting and finishing to include utilizing steam tunnel, pressing equipment and replacing buttons
• Responsible for sorting of garments by classification and color. Finish all garments to a quality standard
• Maintain all quality and efficiency standards
• Monitor and maintain all safety requirementsMaintain a clean and organized work area
• Ensure equipment malfunctions are detected and remedied
• Other related duties and tasks as assigned by Management

Qualifications

Experience

• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications (preferred)
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus (preferred)
• Other physical requirements include but are not limited to lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and bending (preferred)
• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of a normal shift (preferred)
• Six (6) months of experience in finishing/processing garments with experience on steam tunnel, pressers, and shirt units preferred (preferred)
