Job summary

The Redondo Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure clean, fresh linens for our housekeeping team. You will sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, treat stains, and deliver items to the appropriate areas to support a smooth operation.

You should have prior laundry or hotel/housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper linen laundering and stain treatment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and work efficiently.
• Dependable and responsible with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and fellow team members.
• Ability to safely work with approved laundry detergents, bleach, and cleaning agents.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens according to established standards.
• Identify stains and treat linens appropriately before washing.
• Ensure clean linens are folded, organized, and stored in the proper locations.
• Deliver linens to Housekeeping and other areas as requested.
• Keep an accurate flow of clean and soiled linens throughout the laundry operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry work area.
• Safely operate laundry equipment and use approved detergents and cleaning agents.
• Report damaged or missing linens and any guest belongings found to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist Room Attendants with housekeeping duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with guests and fellow team members.
• Support other Housekeeping and hotel departments as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and team-focused approach throughout every shift.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

Located along King Harbor in Redondo Beach, The Redondo Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton offers a relaxed coastal stay with marina views and easy access to the South Bay’s beaches, restaurants, and waterfront attractions. The 112-room hotel features beach-inspired accommodations, Azul Café & Bar, a heated pool and spa, complimentary Wi-Fi, bike rentals, and a rooftop patio overlooking the marina. THE ROLE

As a Laundry Attendant, you’ll play an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping the hotel running smoothly. You’ll ensure linens are clean, fresh, properly cared for, and available when our Housekeeping team needs them, while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient laundry operation. You will:
