Job summary

The Redondo Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Laundry Attendant to keep linens clean, fresh, and ready for use, ensuring timely delivery to Housekeeping and other departments across the property.

You will sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, identify stains, operate laundry equipment safely, and maintain a clean, organized workspace while communicating courteously with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of linen laundering and stain treatment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and work efficiently.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to safely handle detergents, bleach, and cleaners.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lifts up to 20 lbs unaided.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens.
• Identify stains and treat linens appropriately before washing.
• Ensure clean linens are folded, organized, and stored in the proper locations.
• Deliver linens to Housekeeping and other areas as requested.
• Keep an accurate flow of clean and soiled linens throughout the laundry operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry work area.
• Safely operate laundry equipment and use approved detergents and cleaning agents.
• Report damaged or missing linens and any guest belongings found to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist Room Attendants with housekeeping duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with guests and fellow team members.
• Support other Housekeeping and hotel departments as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and team-focused approach throughout every shift.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

THE ROLE

As a Laundry Attendant, you’ll play an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping the hotel running smoothly. You’ll ensure linens are clean, fresh, properly cared for, and available when our Housekeeping team needs them, while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient laundry operation. You will:
